Low cutting resistance. Easy to work with sharp cutting edges. Slight blunting effect on cutters. Nails, screws and glues well. Stains and polishes to a good finish. |

Low bending strength (11020 psi) and resistance to shock loads. Very low stiffness but with medium crushing strength (5722 psi). When setting, checking can occur on the ends of bends. |
